MARDI GRAS PARADE
It's never to early to plan. Lake Wales Mardi Gras event takes place in February and the Parrot Heads have a phloat in the parade. It is a great time! If interested in riding on the phloat you must be willing to do some work on it, but this is all part of the fun. The cost for riding on the phloat is $50 per person. Cost may be decreased if we are able to get enough sponsors. More details to come.

The Pirates on the Ridge (formerly Parrot Head Club of Winter Haven) was established in 2002 and proudly serves Parrot Heads in the Polk County area. The club is a member of Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. (PHIP). We are dedicated to serving the community through volunteer efforts and charitable fund-raising and having fun doing it. This is accomplished by following the club's motto: "Party with a Purpose".
If you enjoy making new friends, Jimmy Buffett style music and the frame of mind it creates, and making a difference in your community this may be the club for you. Check out our website and join us at a phlocking.
We phlock (get together) every first Saturday of the month at Dockside Bar and Grill from 7:00 until 11:00pm. Dockside is located at 1006 S Lake Howard Drive, behind Caribbean Bay on Lake May.
